1． Overview

a、With the development of the steel industry, a large increase of fine alloy steel and steel varieties, growth of continuous casting ratio, and continued improvement of outside furnace refining technology, the introduction of wire drive technology is more advantageous compared with use of powder spraying method and putting alloy lumps directly in.

b.The alloy wrapped wires produced in our factory strictly follows the technical standards as stipulated in YB/T053-93 Alloy wrapped Wires，and as required by the customers to compound powders of various alloys.

２．Uses and Performance

Silicon-calcium alloy wrapped wires are largely used in outside furnace refining of copper, and is extensively adopted as deoxidant and desurphrizer, to change the forms of all kinds of impurity in the copper, so as to promote the quality of copper.

The silicon- calcium wrapped wires produced in our factory meet the industry codes and enterprise standards. Our company has the capability to provide a great variety of products with multi- specifications, and meet various technical requirements of customers. Now, our products, owing to its peculiar advantages as good evenness in spread of powder, standard sizes and low breaking rate, has passed the industrial tests conducted by all large steel enterprises.

Remark：The alloy core-covered wires shall be covered securely, with straight seams, without leaking of powder, or empty covering, looking bright and clean.
